Subject: San Francisco Shakespeare Marathon

Sorry I didn't learn about this earlier. San Francisco will have a
rather leisurely Bardathon beginning in two days, as I write this, and
yesterday, when most of you read it. It has not received much
publicity. Mostly, audience members will not participate. Various Bay
Area theater companies, with an exception or two, will do the readings.
It is put on by "The Committee to Celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday" and
will take place at

The Marsh
1062 Valencia Street
San Francisco

Box office number: (415) 826-5750

Attended parking available on Bartlett and 21st St.

The suggested donation is $5 -10 per play. For weekends, a full day pass
can be purchased for $20. A $100 pass is available for the entire 10
days of the MARATHON. Proceeds from the MARATHON benefit the LEMONADE
FUND, a grant program for critically ill theater workers.
