Subject:        Poison Through the Ear

The psychoanalyst Ernest Jones published an essay on the above, in which
he specifies kinds of poisons and cites precedents for their use.

In my paper "Ear Disease in HAMLET," I argue that the poisoned king's
symptoms suggest venereal disease; and that love in the play is poison
