Subject:        cfp: Shakespeare and Mass Media
Hi all,

Call for essay contributions: Richard Burt is editing a book of essays
on Shakespeare and mass media to be published by Basil Blackwell in
Spring 2001.  Contributors so far include Mark Thornton Burnett, Don
Hedrick, myself, Barbara Freedman, Doug Lanier, Peter Donaldson,  Bryan
Reynolds, and Francesca Royster, among others.

Richard is also interested in including contributions on Shakespeare's
presence in science fiction, the Internet and CD-ROM, television, radio,
theme parks, the gramophone, children's lit, and comics.  Contributions
should be 30 pages maximum, including notes, and would be due by early
September.
