I am neither a scholar nor an expert but a wild enthusiast of
Shakespeare's works. So much so that I intend to devote some part of
the rest of my life to the propagation of some of the ideas in thepoetry
and plays. I have re-written one of the plays as a modern gangster
movie and would like to present another as a popular TV series. I am
currently working on a number of short films intended for television
based on the sonnets. I include the URL not for advertising but for
evidence of my personal dedication to Shakespeare performance in the
21st century.

I am neither a conservative purist nor a deconstructive modernist. I
love the poetry but abhor snobbish opacity. To be authentic is
impossible - to be fatuously popular is more so. Performers of
Shakespeare tread a difficult path through the wild wood otherwise known
as an audience.
Hoping very much for your acquaintance,
SAM SMALL
