Subject: Pyrotechnics

If you have access to the university microfilms collection, you might
wish to look at STC item number 5226, recording on reel 192 of the Early
English Books series. It's a description of the welcome for Queen's
entertainment in Suffolk and Norfolk, which involved a lot of
pyrotechnics. Thomas Churchyard, the author, was something of an
authority on all things military-literary.

The following article, from the MLA index, deals with the production:

TITLE: Thomas Churchyard's Thunder on the Right.
AUTHOR(S): Williams,-Franklin-B.,Jr.
SOURCE (BIBLIOGRAPHIC CITATION): English-Literary-Renaissance, Amherst,
MA 1973, 3, 380-99
DESCRIPTORS: English-literature; 1500-1599; Churchyard,-Thomas
