Subject: Early Modern Post-Tridentine Rules
I'm looking for an official guide to the elements and meanings of
immediately post-Tridentine or counter-reformation Catholic liturgy,
vestments, equipment, etc.: all of the apparatus that hard-line
16th-century English Protestants thought of as the "menstruous rags of
Rome." Something like Danielou, but more fine-grained. Can anyone help?
Many thanks.
