Subject: Shakespeare in Stratford (UK) Course for 2001
This early summer course may be of interest to some on the list:
The 6th annual Shakespeare in Stratford (UK): Text and Theater course is
set for 17 -23 June, 2001, offering seminars on text and performance
with scholars from the Shakespeare Centre and Shakespeare Institute and
actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company, covering five plays. The
specific plays will be announced soon after the first of the year. The
$795 fee covers lodging in Stratford-upon-Avon guesthouses, breakfasts,
2 dinners, all tickets, coaches, entrance and class fees, but not
airfare or transportation to Stratford. Course is limited to 15
participants, on a first-come basis. References are available from past
