Milla,
I tried to decipher your e-mail address, but can't tell if you are in
the U. K., though I think so. The U. K. has the PAL VCR system. Most
other countries, the U. S., Canada amongst them, have the NTSC system.
Since I can't tell with certainty, I'll answer both ways.
If NTSC, you can order from listmember Tanya Gough at her wonderful shop
Poor Yorick. I know it is wonderful first hand; I visited there in
August. The URL is
http://www.bardcentral.com/willscat.html
If you are in the U. K., or another country with the PAL system, you can
get the Noble Dream from the RSC Shop in Stratford.

Click on the link below to get the order information from Amazon.com.
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/6305470456/qid=974840741/sr=2-3/105-4089512-8863929
I would imagine the video is available through other sources too
including the RSC shop in London since it is an RSC/Channel 4 BBC
production. The director is Adrian Noble.
I just finished showing this film to my current students today by
coincidence. I also showed them the Pyramus and Thisbe scene from the
Joseph Papp production in Central Park because I think the Mechanicals
scenes in that production are superior.

In my last post I forgot to mention that I'm having trouble finding a
good video for Merchant of Venice for my class. I presently use the
Laurence Olivier one but I don't like it very well. Does anyone know of
a better production available on VHS?
