Subject: Titus Double Dactyl
I think Fran Teague's sixth line is perfect, but the fourth and fifth
lines limp to my ear. Don't you need dactyls rather than iambs? If so,
how 'bout:
Higgledy, Piggledy
Titus Andronicus
Wanted to cook up a Mother's Day meal.
Barbecued beautif'ly
Anthropophagic'ly,
Polit'cly correctly,
Didn't use veal.
My sixth line is not precisely a dactyl, but it's funny. Isn't it?
