My new all-time favorite graffito is relevant to this list. I hope it
still exists. In Milford Lane off the Victoria Embankment (WC2), was
scrawled just beside the street sign:

"Deny thy father and
refuse thy name
Or, if thou wilt not,
be but sworn my
love and I'll no
longer be a Capulet."

This bit of public statement brings up too many questions to think
about.
