Subject: Shakespeare word-frequency list
I've followed http:web.uvic.ca/shakespeare/Annex/ShakSites1.html from
our carefully updated archive to screen after screen of valuable sites,
but I haven't found what I saw several weeks ago: a word-frequency list
viewable in ascending and descending orders.
Can anyone lead me to it? I've e-mailed Michael Best of the University
of Victoria but have had no reply: perhaps he's preoccupied.
My group was thinking of using it as a publicly available basis for a
somewhat surprising article, after we'd ascertained the list's source
and reliability.
I've something else to say about the (in some quarters) well-known
difference between a token and a lemma and what English-speakers ought
to use as the plural of the latter, but first I'd like to find that
list. - Most grateful for an answer.
