The best Antony and Cleopatra on video that I have seen is, by far, the
Trevor Nunn/Jon Scoffield production done for television starring Janet
Suzman as Cleopatra, Richard Johnson as Antony, and Patrick Stewart as
Enobarbus. The cast is wonderful as a whole, and Suzman and Stewart are
fabulous.
The Internet Movie Database info page is found at
http://amazon.imdb.com/Details/ASIN=078400174X?0175447
The video itself is for sale through Amazon.com and other outlets.
Best of luck,
Meg

Re L. Swilley's question about Caesar's last speech in A&C 5.1: I most
definitely read it as spin-doctoring. He is about to explain to his
troops, as he so often does, what the official version of the war is
going to be: that of course Antony made him do it. Whether the council
believes him in their hearts is another matter, since this speech, in
fact, responds to Agrippa's earlier remark (5.1.28-30) about Caesar's
'grief' at Antony's death: "strange it is/That nature must compel us to
lament/Our most persistent deeds." Persist, replies Caesar, moi?
