Shakespeare in European Culture. University of Basel, Switzerland, 15-18
November, 2001.

Previous conferences have taken place in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Murcia,
Spain. There will be five sections: Performance, Criticism, Translation,
Education, Iconicity. Paper proposals (300 words) and expressions of
