Tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in renaissance
literature. Appointment begins August 15, 2001. Required: Ph.D. in
English by time of appointment, college level teaching experience
appropriate to rank, ability to teach Shakespeare, and compelling
promise of ongoing, high-quality research and publication. Desired:
Demonstrated interest in using new technologies in teaching; evidence of
competence in sixteenth-century non-dramatic literature, Shakespeare
studies, literary theory, and/or history of drama. Teaching load is 2/2
for tenure-track faculty with a significant research agenda, with
teaching opportunities at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
