Subject: Shylock's Daughter
Just to let people on the list know--a novel for young people called
Shylock's Daughter, by Miriam Pressler (I think that's the author) is
being released by Macmillan in the UK in September. Apparently it's
quite controversial, but it sounds very interesting. If you'd like to
find out more, the wonderful UK children's lit website, Achuka, has some
information on it (and an invitation for people to register for reading
