Subject: Northern Georgia Tempest Production
I've been cleaning out my email and came upon one I saved a while back,
I guess thinking that I would possibly have a chance to see the
performance it discusses. Anyway, I am wondering how this production
turned out:
>Those list members in the Northern Georgia area may be interested in the
>University of Georgia's upcoming production of The Tempest. The
>production is singular in that it renders Prospero's magic visible
>through digital technology: for instance, Ariel will be "played" by a
>digitally animated character whose actions and movements will be
>controlled in real time by a live actor.
I also wonder if holograms can be or have been used for Shakespeare's
ghosts. Do these uses of technology work out well?
