In answer to Mike Jenson's questions: it seemed that the Porter was
ad-libbing his own lines to the audience at times. (He got a few laughs
this way.) Also, at the end of the banquet scene, lights flickered under
the tables (two of them) and then were lifted up by the witches who hung
from the top table legs as the chanted their lines.

I saw the second to the last performance at Stratford.
