DEPARTMENT CHAIR
English and Foreign Languages

Tenured position as Department Chair with rank of Professor in British
or American Literature, Composition and Rhetoric, Linguistics, ESL, or
Foreign Languages (Spanish, French). The department offers the
bachelor's and master's degree in English and the bachelor's degree in
Spanish. Date of appointment is September 2001. Applicants are required
to submit a letter that includes their administrative and teaching
philosophy within a multicultural environment, a completed application
form, curriculum vitae, a transcript showing highest degree earned (from
an accredited educational institution), and a minimum of three recent
(within the past two years) letters of reference and two additional
names, addresses, and telephone numbers of references. Completed
applications must be received by February 1, 2001. Materials submitted
by the candidate will be available for examination by all tenured and
probationary faculty of the department.  Please request an application
