Subject:        Ray Milland as Shakespeare Prof

Ray Milland plays an English prof whose wife has died in b&W film I
didn't get the name of-it co-stars John Hodiak.  A student mentions an
exam question about Iago being, and there's a bust of Shakespeare in the
prof's office.

Got it.  The title is Night Into Morning (1951). Directed by Fletcher
