That, Don, says it all.  One may disagree with Johnson on Shakespeare
out of personal preference, but his judgements are often, like that on
Hal, just, and at the end of the day his prose style is so pleasing that
it is an attraction in itself; certainly it draws me back to his work
time and time again. (I am finding currently that Macaulay is having the
same effect.)
