Subject: Shakespeare Science Fiction Novels

Hello all,

The Mystery thread reminds me of a fine Shakespearean science fiction
novel, Nick O'Donohoe's _Too Too Solid Flesh_. He proposes a future
society which contains an android acting troupe who, as one of the last
vestiges of "live" theater, perform _Hamlet_ every night. Since they
were created so specifically for their roles, they remain very much in
character after leaving the stage. When the scientist who created the
androids dies under mysterious circumstances, and a new owner steps
in...well, you can imagine. I can't claim the story fully lives up to
its intriguing premise, but the dialogue and details are simply
delightful.

Regards,
Paul
