I can't find it!

My co-teacher and I will debate in class next Tuesday. She is taking
the post-colonial view of *The Tempest,* and I am taking the sane view.

Go ahead. Lob things.

A year and a half ago I read a very helpful article counter
post-colonialism. It went into the historic situation at the time the
play was written: how landowners in the English colonies were not
allowed to own slaves, the punishment if they did, government policy to
native peoples, and so on. All this was directed to the colonial claims
for *The Tempest.*

I spent 90 minutes in my library last night trying to find that
article. I can't. If it is familiar to you, will you please direct me
to it?

Thanks in advance,
Mike Jensen
