Subject: Seattle Shakespeare Company Query

I will be in Seattle the week of April 8-15th. I accidentally stumbled
onto the web site of the Seattle Shakespeare Company. They will be
doing *Merry Wives* the week that I am there, and I am considering
going.

I know nothing about this group. Seattle is ostensibly my home town,
but I haven't lived there in many years and didn't know this particular
company even existed. Does anyone out there know anything about them?
For example: they want $18-22 per ticket. From my point of view, that's
very reasonable for a fair-to-middling professional company, or for a
semi-professional fringe-type group with a good track record. It
doesn't seem so reasonable if they are Judy and Mickey putting on a show
in the barn. (I am NOT commenting on whether amateur groups can do good
Shakespeare or not!! Don't throw things!!!)

Anyway, if you've seen them or have heard anything or, for that matter,
if you're part of the company, I'd be interested in what you know.
Thanks.

Cheers,
Karen E. Peterson
