Subject: Spinoffs Error
Glancing through the Spinoffs Bibliography held by SHAKSPER, I noticed
the following entry.
John Fletcher. The Woman's Cries, or The Tamer Tamed. Drama.
Isn't this a rather original variation on the actual title of the play -
which is surely "The Woman's Prize, or The Tamer Tamed"?
The variant given by the SHAKSPER bibliography sounds more suited to
Shakespeare's original play - in which a woman's cries would seem well
justified given the treatment that Petruchio doles out.
