Yes, the site is accessible to anyone.  If you'd like to point someone
to a thread, you can give them a URL that will load the "browse page"
with the first message of a particular thread at the very top of the
screen.  For instance, the exact URL to Andy's question looks like this:

        http://ws.bowiestate.edu/archives/2001/index.html#624

To find the correct address to the thread you wish to send, locate the
message on the website, and click on the [thread] link.  You're
browser's address box will now contain the exact link to the first
message in that thread.

Now that you've shown the recipient how useful SHAKSPER is, they will
undoubtedly wish to subscribe:
