I tried this over on the FICINO list and didn't get many takers.

I've wanted to ask this of a knowledgeable forum for a long time. Henry
VIII had as his #1 this series: Thomas, Cardinal Woolsey, Thomas
Cromwell, Thomas More, Thomas Cranmer, and I think a few others; Hank,
what's with all the Tommies?

Doesn't anyone find this the least little bit unusual?
