Subject: Oxfordian Play Premieres in Nashville
Thursday's _Tennessean_ reports that William Dorian, artistic director
of Nashville's AthensSouth Theatre, will premiere his play "A Rose by
Any Other Name," on Friday. The premise of the play is that a bumbling
Shakespeare fronts for de Vere. The article gives equal time to
Vanderbilt professor Leah Marcus, who dismisses the play's premise. The
article may be viewed online:

Personally, I'm not convinced that Dorian is the author of his own play;
I'm pretty sure he's fronting for one of Nashville's nobility, probably
Johnny Cash.
