Subject: Shakespeare on Broadway
Well, not really a full production.
The first scene of Mel Brooks' hit new show "The Producers" takes place
on the opening, and closing, night of Max Bialystok's (Nathan Lane)
latest production, "Funny Boy," a musical version of "Hamlet."
Now if he'd followed that up with a musical "Lear" he would certainly
have had a "sure fire flop"!
