There is a CD called "A Present From the Gentlemen" by two English
folksingers, John Roberts and Tony Barrand with Adam MacNaughtan's song,
"Our Hamlet" on it. It's published by Golden Hind Music. I had the
pleasure of hearing these two gentlemen at the Augusta Festival in West
Virginia about six years ago and picked up the cd then. The liner notes
say that "MacNaughtan, a Glasgow singer and teacher crafted it to
impress some of the finer points of English Literature on inner-city
schoolchildren. John learned this Anglicized version from Martin
Carthy."
