I appreciate the replies so far to my inquiry on the Alabama Festival,
and I'd welcome hearing more. I will be seeing King John on Sunday
evening while en route to South Carolina, so I will try to write up a
review for the list Monday or Tuesday next week. Happily for me, I had
already been planning to do research on that play this summer before I
came upon this opportunity to see it. I may be raising some questions on
KJ soon.

Regarding the Octagon stage, I think it is possible to get a reserved
seat for $25, rather than general admission.

I also want to note that the New Orleans festival at Tulane University
will be staging Richard II and Winter's Tale this summer. They usually
repeat one during the Christmas season so that may be Shakespeareans
best bet for a play during the MLA. Perhaps there will be a way to
encourage them to do Winter's Tale, having had RII during MLA this past
year.
