I hate to say this, but I have a similar problem with my TV, so I
thought I'd speak up.
I live in a small town, Terre Haute, IN, but that's really not much of
an excuse for the poor quality TV signal I get. I had an antenna on our
TV, and I was only able to get CBS and NBC. Fox and PBS were very fuzzy
(and we do have our own Fox Affiliate here in Terre Haute), and ABC was
not accessible at all. We pay ten dollars a month to have "cable" that
includes all the networks, including two Fox stations and WB, PBS, and
C-Span. That's about it. We don't even get MTV. But that's okay. We
hardly watch TV, except my husband is an avid fan of the Simpsons, and
he can't bear to watch them in fuzzy mode.
Even in this day and age, fuzzy TV IS possible. I sort of feel like we
pay ten bucks a month just to watch the Simpsons. Oh well! Everyone has
a guilty pleasure.
