Saw an amateur production of 'The Alchemist' in Toronto c. 1959.
Absolutely hilarious.

Had occasion in my high school classes to quote 'Every Man in His
Humour' when students asked to go to the washroom at the most
inconvenient times: "What! Can you not hold your water at the reading of
a poem?"
