Subject: Are they too stupid??
Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, I'm a graduate assistant, and I teach English
101 (Basic Writing) in the Fall and English 105 (Intro to Research) in
the Spring. Each teacher who teaches these classes basically has the
option of either using a formatted syllabus, or s/he can make up his or
her own. A lot of the profs at my school use Literary texts for their
Research classes, so that they are able to avoid either getting old
papers from high school or papers on over-used topics (like abortion or
capital punishment. Although these topics have their merits, it seems
that they are used so much that they're almost clich
