Subject: Jack and Beanstalk R and J / Pete and Tillie Sonnets
In the film comedy Pete 'n' Tillie, Pete (Walter Matthau) is playing for
his stepson an LP of Abbot and Costello's "Who's on first?" routine and
Tillie (Carol Burnett) interrupts him. Pete maintains that the routine
is literature, as great as "the Song of Solomon and the sonnets of
Shakespeare." http://us.imdb.com/Title?0069080
CBS aired a new 2 part movie on Sunday, Dec. 2 and Tuesday Dec. 4 called
Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story. At the end of the second part of
