Subject: Boston Public
On the latest _Boston Public_ episode, a student challenges the school's
tradition of "jamming Shakespeare," forcing him upon students. The
teacher (Jeri Ryan) expresses this concern to her boyfriend (Billy
Zane), who wants to perform a scene for the class to inspire them.
Instead, he decides to sing the song from Zeffirelli's R&J. The
performance is so bad the students (and teacher) laugh at him, which he
interprets as being because the song is "just too painful."
