Subject: Shakespeare Newsletter

Dear SHAKSPEReans,

Just a quick note to report that "The Shakespeare Newsletter" is still
alive and well, but publication of our 2001 issues has been delayed by
various factors. We will shortly publish a combined SPRING/SUMMER 2001
issue and mail it to all subscribers.

Subscribers will agree that this special issue was worth waiting for. It
will feature our second-ever color cover, along with a wonderful color
spread in the centerfold. There are many interesting reviews and
articles, including Thomas Pendleton on the latest Arden Shakespeare
edition, Bernice Kliman on several recent Hamlets, John Velz on the
Munich Shakespeare Library, and many other features, including an
account of the World Shakespeare Congress in Valencia, Spain, and
abstracts from the Miami meeting of the Shakespeare Association of
America.

If you aren't already a subscriber, you can subscribe now to receive
this double issue as your first--send a check or credit card information
(preferred for subscribers outside the U.S.) for $30 ($34 outside the
U.S.) for a two-year subscription to The Shakespeare Newsletter at
Department of English, Iona College, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY
10801. Please contact the Shakespeare Newsletter at
