Comment: Re: SHK 12.2213 Re: New Directions Conference
I just wanted to second Stephen Dobbin's and Thomas Larque's comments
about the New Directions Conference. It was exhilarating, entertaining,
and stimulating. I (and I'm sure all the others who attended) am
grateful to Takashi for his organization and his heroic hard work both
preceding and during the weekend.
And, another recommendation for *King John* at the Swan. Stephen Dobbin
said it all better than I could have. It is a marvellous production,
one of the best Shakespeare performances I have ever seen. If you
haven't seen it yet, GO.
Cheers,
Karen

Subject: Biography Conference (Many Thanks)
Dear SHAKSPEReans who attended our biography conference in
Stratford-upon-Avon:
Thank you so much for attending our conference. I'm pleased that some
SHAKSPEReans were among our delegates. I'm also pleased that a couple of
you came to talk to me.
Many delegates told me that the conference was very "lively", and I do
hope that you enjoyed the high-level lectures and discussions.
I also thank Hardy for his hard work to run SHAKSPER, which let me
publicise the conference world-wide. (We had over 120 delegates from 6
countries.)
Best wishes,
Takashi Kozuka
Conference Organiser
