All facets of the debate about Shakespeare and racism remain alive and
well and doubtless will continue to do so for as long as at least two
humans remain to discuss them. I note within this SHAKSPER debate that
the term "white trash" is being bandied around. I wonder what
Shakespeare would have made of the phrase. I also wonder what furore
would ensue if another colour - any other colour - was substituted for
"white". "Trash" - noun or verb - has its potency too, does it not?

Just a thought on the power of words.
