Subject: Who Was Shakespeare?

Dear SHAKSPEReans:

Working on (and running a conference on) Shakespeare biography, I feel
obligated (as well as delighted) to post this information on SHAKSPER:
the August issue (vol 51, no 8) of History Today has an article "Who was
Shakespeare" by William Rubinstein (pp. 28-35). You can't miss the issue
at your local WH Smith (I don't know if the magazine is available in
other countries) since the Bard is gazing at you on the front cover.

Happy reading!
