Subject: Imaginary Audio Chat
I returned home from an extended weekend in Las Vegas where I learned
nothing Shakespearean, except perhaps that Leontes's exuberance at the
end of WT over a "pair of kings" does not hold up when put in practice.
Since my wife is still toiling in Sin City, I took the opportunity of my
solitude to printout all the posts I missed (including the special
Sunday edition) to read in my whirlpool. As I grew more and more
dehydrated I became sillier and sillier, to the point where I found
myself reading the posts aloud in accents I imagine the posters might
hold as their own. I regret not having a recording device at hand --
although I shall probably not regret it in the clear un-jetlagged light
of dawn -- so I cannot sent you any copies. I doubt there would be a
market anyway.
