For what it's worth, and in order to tie a few scattered threads
together, the murder of "Polonius" in the sources of Hamlet usually
involved cutting him up and tossing him out the trash window which led
to the pig slop, where he was devoured.  Shakespeare changed the politic
pigs to politic Worms.
