Subject: Reformist Tutors

G.R. Elton cast this challenge in his ENGLAND UNDER THE TUDORS:"For some
reason which has never been satisfactorily explained, Henry permitted
his son and heir to be brought up by reformist tutors . . . ." Can
someone direct me to the scholarship that has best met this challenge?
Collinson, Loades, and Haigh come to mind, but I'm not as current as I'd
like. Can someone also direct me to a more appropriate list for this
question?

All the best,
R.A. Cantrell
