I'm sure many list members will recall an essay (featured on the cover!)
of *Shakespeare Quarterly* on *Last Action Hero*. For those who didn't
read it then and are interested in such things, here's the citation from
the MLA index:
'You Kilt My Foddah'; or Arnold, Prince of Denmark Author: Mallin, Eric
S. Source: Shakespeare Quarterly {Washington, DC} 50, no. 2 (1999
Summer): p. 127-51
Doc. Type: journal article Libraries: 1467
Cheers,
Karen

Because we got the Last Action Hero reference in here, I wanted to
mention that I saw Hearts In Atlantis last night. There is a Ben Jonson
reference! And it is even repeated towards the end of the film as a "see
what the boy has learned from Antony Hopkins" moment. I for one did not
know that Jonson enjoyed flatulence. Or is Hollywood once again
misleading us on Elizabethan/Jacobean playwrights? I always knew that
Ben was full of hot air.

The Arnold Schwartzeneger film you're thinking of is 'The Last Action
Hero'. It is very brash and OTT (over the top). There's even an
article on it in, I believe, Shakespeare Quarterly.
Hope this helps,
Kelley Costigan
