John,
For the T-shirt, how about this from Richard II, I.iii:
"Rouse up thy youthful blood, be valiant and live!"

I saw "...and thus I clothe my naked villainy" on a T-shirt once.

For my t-shirt:
My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep. The more I give to thee
The more I have, for both are infinite.
Kit Gordon, currently working on a production of Shakespeare's R&J
(adaptation by Joe Calarco), which opens January 11 at the Loring
Playhouse in Minneapolis and which will be remounted for the SAA in
March. Hope you'll all come!

Edmund: "Some good I mean to do, despite of mine own nature."
Or
Hamlet: "Use every man after his desert, and who shall scape whipping?"
Apparently in a Calvinist mood today,

Ten out of ten to your innovative offspring, John. I've always been
fond of Falstaff's
'The better part of valour is discretion' from 1 H IV, 5.4.
With a prosperous and happy New Year's wish to all fellow SHAKSPERians,
I remain yours,
Rainbow

My wife came up with one that is perfect for a gift from your kids:
"The gods are just, and of our pleasant vices make instruments to plague
us."
She also suggests, "Forget not that I am an ass."
I'm glad she didn't make a t-shirt for me!
