NYC's award-winning Judith Shakespeare Company, now in its seventh
season, is committed to bringing Shakespeare's language to life with
clarity and vitality, while expanding the presence of women in classical
performance. In JSC's exploration of the eight plays of the History
Cycle, all monarchs and contenders to the throne will be played by
women. JSC's History Cycle continues through the next three seasons,
concluding with a full production of Richard 3 in 2004.
