Subject: Noble's Tale
To anyone who saw Adrian Noble's 1992 RSC production of *The Winter's
Tale," I'd be grateful for a description of how he used umbrellas and
the boy (I assume Mamillius) in the play.
On a related matter: Is the photo on the new book in the *Shakespeare at
Stratford* series on *The Winter's Tale* (so, OK, they're all new) from
Noble's production? Unless I have overlooked it, the book does not
indicate. If so, what is that scene, and how were the balloons used?
Thanks in advance,
Mike Jensen
