Subject: Re: Personal Insults and Invective

Robust argument is to be encouraged but please could the trading of and
responding to personal insults and invective be confined to off-list
exchanges?

Or, if the urge to go on-list proves irresistible to the correspondents
who engage in such usage, might they consider confining themselves to
insults found within the canon.? Thereby, the integrity of SHAKSPER
might be best served.

To quote that well-worn fracas-ending line of many a weary
scriptwriter..."Gentlemen......gentlemen......Please!"

Best wishes,
Graham Hall
