Subject: Rushes on the Indoor Stage

I am working on the original staging of two Whitefriars plays 1607-1610
and am stumped on a question relevant to Lording Barry's Ram Alley. If
anyone knows anything about the use of rushes onstage in the indoor
theatres or of references which may be helpful, any information would be
greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Will Sharpe
