Subject: Looking for Videos
I'm trying to find out about three very different productions. First,
has the BBC production from the Roman plays, _Spread of the Eagle_. Is
it preserved on videotape and available?
Second, I know that George Dunning's Sketches for The Tempest animated
films were collected after his death. Can these be viewed?
Finally, does anyone on the list have a copy of the British television
special about Michael Powell's plans for a Tempest film? He of course
tried for years to make this with James Mason as Prospero, and I
understand after his death a special was made about it, including one
scene dramatised with Prospero and Galileo, as Powell had planned to
include.
Thanks,
Hugh Davis
