The triangle is the only polygon which bears weight from any direction.
Locating a point in space requires 3 axes.
The integer closest to the scientific constants Pi and e is 3.
The number of atoms in a water molecule is 3.
A good pitcher almost always has mastery of 3 pitches (like fast ball,
curve, slider).
3 is obviously a pretty cool number.
